THE CIVIL WAR
Learn about history in a fun and exciting environment. The Civil War era will come alive for you through movies and class discussions. This session continues from the previous semester and focuses on the period of 1862 - 1863. The class will begin with the Emancipation Proclamation following the battle of Antietam and includes the battle of Gettysburg and the most crucial engagements and key figures of the war. Instructor Steve Brown is a master teacher who will engage you in this fun approach to history with his extensive knowledge and enthusiastic style.
Fee: $15 for seniors 55+ - others $25
