LIFELONG LEARNING IN ASSISTED LIVING FACILITIES
Many of our classes are offered in partnership with senior citizen apartments, mobile home complexes and retirement homes. We thank our Community Partners for helping us to bring public education closer to your community! These classes are open to the public. Classes are free and include:
  • Physical Fitness: Low Impact Aerobics, Chair Exercises, Dance Aerobics, Nutrition & Health
  • Mental Fitness: Activating Memory & Thinking Skills
  • Civic Participation
  • Historical and Current Perspectives (Current Events)
  • Fine & Applied Arts: Arts & Crafts
  • Literature
  • Music Appreciation
  • Cultural Studies
Classes are offered at senior apartments, retirement homes, skilled nursing facilities, and adult day care centers. Courses (see above) complement the program for care and rehabilitation provided by the hospital or care center.
